Reference Info The Fuji Xerox® XP15/20 engine is featured in printer models offered by several vendors including Dataproducts® and Compaq® (introduced in 1992), Apple® (introduced in 1993) and Xerox® (introduced in 1994). The printer's high-end capabilities, which included tabloid-size printing and 600 dpi resolution, as well as speed (15 or 20 ppm) made these machines a long-term addition to large work groups. Xerox's 4520 was initially positioned to compete with Hewlett Packard's® LaserJet® 4Si with the 4520 boasting a 3 ppm advantage in speed over the LJ4Si. The XP15/20 cartridge is a large tabloid-size featuring a corona wire charging system. The OEM cartridge is packaged with a transfer corona wire assembly that is installed in the printer by the end user. A fuser wand is installed in the printer to clean the fuser and is also included with the OEM cartridge.
