Static Control now offers a Brother® MFC-4800 drum with helical gear and matching drive train gear that performs well in the HL-720, MFC-4800, HL-1040 and all equivalent models that use DR-200, DR-250 or DR-300 drum units. The universal drum enables remanufacture of any of 12 OEM core variations and achieves OEM page yield with OEM-like performance characteristics. SCC’s universal drum axle (B4800DRAXLE) is needed to make a universal cartridge from a DR-200 core. Some versions of the DR-250 and DR-300 cores may also require either a narrow or wide SCC transfer roller gear (B4800TRGR-N or B4800TRGR-W) to make a universal cartridge.
