Product Overview Static Control now offers a reliable replacement chip for use in the Ricoh® AP400 and AP410 cartridges that provides complete OEM functionality. The Smartek direct contact chip stores page count, estimated toner level and other product information, and includes an ‘install’ flag that tells the printer a cartridge is installed. The Ricoh AP400 and AP410 cartridges will not function without a chip. Although the printer will continue to print with a spent chip, the page counter will not reset and the end user may not be able to access toner-level status.
