Product Overview SCC now offers SecureRITE™ MICR toner for the HP P2014/2015 cartridges in both low yield (3k/HP, 2.8k/Troy) and high yield (7k) fill weights. These extreme quality control and qualification levels are due to the uses of MICR toner. MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) toner is a crucial part of encoding, reading, and sorting checks and other negotiable and non-negotiable documents. The MICR characters are most easily recognized as the series of numbers located at the bottom of a check. Each check that is deposited is read and sorted multiple times by high-speed machines, so the dependability of the toner is critical to the efficiency of the process.
