Product Info Reuse virgin OEM drums for 1 cycle! Reuse Static Control’s aftermarket drums! Reuse Static Control’s 24mm and 30mm aftermarket drums for multiple cycles! Static Control has designed, developed and manufactured a unique process enabling remanufacturers to reuse OEM and Static Control aftermarket drums, reducing the number of aftermarket drums needed to recycle cartridges successfully. Remanufacturers can now reuse virgin OEM drums without physical damage and Static Control aftermarket drums for color and monochrome all-in-one cartridges (excluding the HP4000, HP8100, Canon® PX, SX and WX) with complete confidence. By using the CTL Replenishment System™ on new Static Control 24mm and 30mm OPCs, along with Static Control’s system-matched components including toner, chips, seal and new multi-cycle wiper blade, remanufacturers can achieve multiple cycles. The multi-cycle wiper blade must be replaced prior to each new cycle. The drum may be used for the new aftermarket cycle plus up to three additional cycles. Static Control’s technological breakthrough is a very simple system to utilize. It includes all the tools and fixtures needed, and Static Control is providing them to remanufacturers worldwide on an extremely in-expensive basis. Hundreds of tests, including accelerated aging tests to replicate storage in a warehouse for an entire year, have shown zero failures. The prints are comparable to OEM prints and Static Control’s Odyssey® system utilizing an aftermarket drum. If remanufacturers lay out the three prints side-by-side, covering up any identifying marks, an observer will have a difficult time seeing a difference in the OEM, Static Control’s aftermarket system or Static Control’s CTL Replenishment System™ product. Proper components and remanufacturing techniques are critical. Color technology is a complex process that requires the perfect balance between components and remanufacturing methodology. That is why it’s extremely important that customers remember and follow Static Control’s remanufacturing instructions. The CTL video features both the automated and manual style replenishment system. Prior to conducting any internal qualification testing on COLOR CARTRIDGES, including the CTL Replenishment System™, Static Control recommends a new chip be installed. Alternatively, a forced calibration, which is complicated, can be done. Static Control recommends for simplicity the use of a new chip. When post-testing cartridges Static Control recommends the use of a mule chip. A mule chip is a chip that can be used numerous times for testing purposes.
