Product Overview Okidata® C3300/C3400/3450 printers will not function properly with a spent chip and will not function properly with a missing chip. Static Control’s dedicated replacement chip solution offers OEM functionality. Users see no change in performance or messaging. If a spent chip is detected the “Attention" LED turns red and the dialog displays “’X’ toner is empty". User intervention is required to continue printing. If the chip is missing the “Attention" LED turns red and the dialog displays “There is no ‘X’ toner cartridge". User intervention is again required to continue printing. These printers in Europe and Australia/New Zealand are offered in 1k yield versions. Cartridges will hold a higher toner load with no problems, essentially converting a low yield cartridge to a 2.5k cartridge when coupled with Static Control’s dedicated chip offering.
