HP Color LaserJet® 2600/2605/1600 (CM1015/1017)
Product Overview Static Control engineers have determined that the proper positioning of the doctor blade in the HP® Color LaserJet® 2600/2605/1600 (CM1015/1017) and Canon® LBP-5000/5100 plays a critical role in providing OEM-like performance in image density and toner usage. Correct positioning is dependent on even pressure applied to the doctor bar and Static Control’s gapping strip during installation. Because of the length of the doctor blade it is extremely difficult for remanufacturers to apply consistent, even pressure while installing the blade. To assist customers with proper blade installation, Static Control now offers an installation jig that consistently applies even pressure across the entire width of the doctor blade. In addition, it is important to continue to use the doctor blade gapping strip along with the doctor blade installation jig. The gapping strip sets the precise position between the doctor blade and the developer roller. Utilizing Static Control’s gapping strip and installation jig ensures proper gap and even pressure, ensuring consistent print performance.
