Carey Rosser
Technical Support

Carey Rosser has been a member of Static Control's technical support staff since 1997. Currently he is the Regional Technical Support Representative for the International Sales Division. His responsibilities include technical support for SCC International Distributors and their customers as well as US domestic customers by providing telephone and email support, external customer training, attending overseas trade shows/seminars and internal continuing education. He possesses a 20+year background in electronics, including seven years with Danka Industries as a Senior Field Service Engineer. Carey has been awarded certificates of technical proficiency from IBM, Lexmark, and Canon for typing systems and laser printers. Carey possesses certificates of technical proficiency from Canon, Omnifax, Dex, and Sharp on laser class facsimile equipment.

Travis Smith
Technical Support - Regional

Travis Smith began his Technical career studying computer programming at Central Carolina Community College. After college he worked as a quality assurance MDS coordinator before coming to SCC. Travis started at SCC in the internal printer repair department before transferring to Technical Support. His current duties include helping customers troubleshoot cartridges, either by phone or direct analysis. Travis also assists with training customers and employees in SCC’s SmartCenter as well as on-site consulting.

Rob Elmore
Technical Support

Rob has been a member of Static Control’s technical support staff since 1998. He joined SCC with 6 years experience in the copier industry, which made him an immediate asset. At Danka, Rob provided field copier service and was factory trained on numerous analog/digital, monochrome and color copiers. Prior to, he spent 6 years as a Naval electronics technician, where he maintained surface and air search radar systems, depth finding equipment and shipboard copiers. Rob's duties at SCC include helping customers troubleshoot cartridges, either by phone or a direct analysis. He also works with the communications group in generating reference information and helps with SmartCenter training at SCC.

Marcelo Sanchez
Technical Support

Marcelo is a member of the Technical Support Staff at SCC. Marcelo’s previous job had him working in all aspects from electronics installation to customer service, which makes him the type of hands member we are looking for. His main focus at SCC is to work directly with our International sales team to help our customers in any way we can. He assists these customers via telephone, email and even travels to their facilities when needed. Other responsibilities include helping implement and conduct our Spanish speaking courses offered at SCC SmartCenter and at tradeshows.
