Static Control Supports Ukraine Distributor Makkon
Static Control Components (Europe) Ltd was honoured to host its first online seminar with its official distributor for Ukraine, Makkon LLC on July 28.
Makkon has been Static Control’s official distributor in Ukraine for nearly a decade, and have worked with them for more than 20 years. Static Control has been a market leader in toner and component shipments to Ukraine thanks to Makkon’s hard work and efforts. Both companies welcomed the seminar, which was an exceptional event considering the current situation in Ukraine.
Makkon’s CEO, Vadim Sergienko, was pleased to have the seminar, especially considering the difficult time his country has faced.
“The meeting turned out to be very warm and informative for both sides. The situation in which our Ukrainian partners have to work in is unprecedented and remanufacturers in Ukraine have been struggling during the past 18 months to keep the business alive. All this time, our companies have maintained close contact and found various solutions to support businesses and partners in Ukraine. We can be proud of achieving 80-90% of the planned indicators in Ukraine in just 7 months of work in 2023.
Of course, we must say thanks to all active dealers in Ukraine, service centers and online stores, or rather people - representatives of these companies, who risk their lives every day, sell and use SCC products and continue to provide customers with the highest quality service.”
Despite the difficulty of a war-torn climate, Makkon has had success in 2023 due to its strong will and determination. Most of Makkon’s partners continue to work, even in risky front-line areas such as Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Odesa, and more.
During the seminar, Angela Shekyls, Sales Executive for Eastern Europe for Static Control, gave an overview of the current market situation in Europe, and talked about new products from Static Control such as components and toner for HP M554 series printers and HP M183 & M255 series printers. After that, Shekyls discussed new challenges the aftermarket faces with chip firmware as well as Static Control’s unique selling points, such as first-to-market products and award-winning customer service.
Chris Kilpatrick, Technical Services Supervisor for Static Control, was also invited to the seminar and held a Q&A session to answer Makkon’s technical questions.
The seminar has been deemed a success by both companies, and plans are in the works for another seminar later this year.
