Static Control Runs for a Cause in Poland’s Largest Corporate Charity Relay

WROCŁAW, POLAND — A team of five colleagues from Static Control’s Poland warehouse proudly participated in the 14th edition of the Bieg Firmowy (Company Run) on May 24, 2026 — Poland’s largest corporate charity relay race, held annually at the Olympic Stadium complex in Wrocław.

The event drew approximately 12,000 participants, all united by a shared mission: supporting children in need of specialist medical treatment and rehabilitation. All entry fees are donated directly to beneficiaries of the Everest Foundation (Fundacja Everest), a Wrocław-based charity dedicated to improving the lives of children facing serious health challenges.

Teamwork Under the Heat

Organized as a 5 × 5 km relay, each team member ran a 5 km leg before passing the baton to the next runner. Conditions were far from easy — temperatures soared to 29–30°C on race day, making the physical demands of the event all the more challenging. Despite the heat, the Static Control team delivered outstanding performances across all five legs.

The team crossed the finish line with a total relay time of 2:18:34, finishing 165th out of 474 competing teams — placing in the top 35% of all participants.

The team was also cheered on by supportive colleagues who came out on the day to show their encouragement, a testament to the strong community spirit within Static Control’s Poland operations.

About the Everest Foundation

The Everest Foundation (Fundacja Everest) is a Wrocław-based charitable organization dedicated to supporting children who require specialist treatment and rehabilitation. Since the Bieg Firmowy event began in 2013, participating companies have collectively raised millions of złoty to fund orthopedic equipment, life-saving operations, rehabilitation sessions, and therapeutic programs for the foundation’s beneficiaries. Looking Ahead
